Personal Training is more than just lifting weights; it is doing exercise in proper form to benefit your body in the long-run. I want all my clients to feel incredible after training with me. By doing exercise in the proper Anatomical Neutral Posture, the correct musculature is not only worked but ligaments and joints are properly utilized and stretched. That way, when normal life comes at you, you're ready for it. You will be able to run, jump, lift and pull yourself to the results you are looking for - and i'll help you get there.
Here is what I will be utilizing in our training sessions:
Consultation
The first step to achieving your goal is to understand where you are coming from and where you have faulted in the past. I will initially meet with you to learn about you, your habits, what/when you eat, when you sleep and how I can best serve you in reaching your goal. The consultation occurs before one signs up for my personal training services.
Postural Assessment

The first session will contain a Postural Assessment, in which I assess which areas of your body are weaker/stronger/injured/etc. Through postural alignment I am able to show how to relieve aches in many parts of the body, including those suffering from neck, shoulder, low back, knee, hip and foot pain. With my previous clientele, all of the symptoms reduced and in many cases the pain disappeared.
Flexibility/Elasticity Training
Being able to utilize the whole of your body is essential to a high quality of life. A unique style of stretching called Self Myofascial Release (SMFR) will be shown, especially to those with severe postural distortions. During the workout portions I will ensure that a full range of motion is achieved on every exercise and during every repetition. Your muscles will be maximally flexed as well as maximally extended. This means a good stretch, great muscular workout, a more aerobic workout and more beneficial results.
Nutritional Physiology
Proper eating habits are essential to our bodily health. From why you would want to have fruit in the morning to the terror of the microwave, I will make sure that you understand what foods to eat as well as those which to avoid to achieve the best results and to feel healthier.
Say good-bye to Fast Food
Exercise Physiology

Exercise comes in many different shapes and forms, but there are proper ways to gain all the benefits from it. Some exercises that you may have seen in the gym are actually detrimental to our bodies, which we will go over. Through understanding muscular and skeletal anatomy I will help you see fast results in strength and agility. Over time, changes in body composition will definitely occur.
Tools
It will depend on each clients individual goals. That will all be discussed when we initially speak together on the phone and in person during the consultation. I have all the necessary equipment; everything from weights to resistance bands to jump ropes.
