Sport Specific Training can be used for people who are competing in specific sports like football, as well as those who just want to improve their ability to play soccer. Sport Specific Training will help you improve specifically in your sport in whatever facet you desire; in agility, speed, strength, whatever you need help with.
With a desire to understand the human body more and the ways in which we move, I have studied a good amount on how we should move to maximize our abilities. Here is what we will do for more Sport Specific Training.
Consultation
We need to look into how you are performing now, and figure out where you want to improve specifically. It is generally a good idea to pick a professional in the sport that one looks up to/desires to emulate. They usually can provide great information on how to improve anothers skills. Plus, they usually are better than we are at that sport :)
Flexibility/Elasticity Training
It is very, very important to be loose when playing sports. Most injuries occur from the bodies' inability to move, usually meaning somewhere was weak or tight. It is something that we will absolutely be emphasizing, especially with how much movement we will be going over for your specific sport. I'll teach you all the stretches and techniques to help you improve your abilities.
Nutritional Counseling
It is important to know what/what not to eat before you compete. Simple food knowledge can help you feel great the day of competition. We'll also talk about what foods you should be adding to your diet to help you recover quicker, feel more alert and energized.
Extensive Muscular Dramatization
This really just means that i'm going to push you to excel in your sport,
and it's probably going to kick your butt.
I won't be mean; I think i'm sort-of nice.
Tools
It will depend on each clients individual goals. This will all be discussed when we initially speak together. I have all the necessary equipment; everything from weights to resistance bands to jump ropes. I even have cones, to promote you running while holding heavy objects. (so fun)
